Summer Computor Companion is Online and We're Certified

The new Summer 2006 issue of Computor Companion is now online. This issue of CC has a number of cool articles, including info on the upcoming Office 2007, ripping music CDs, and my method for labeling a whole lot of file folders using Word’s mail merge feature. In other big news, we have passed all the criteria and are now official Microsoft Certified Partners with an ISV Software Solutions Competency. ISV stands for Independent Software Vendor and technically, it means we have earned enough points from “tested products” (our IdeaWeaver software in this case) and customer references to become a certified partner.

Because only “certified” partners can use the MS logo, I zipped over to the Microsoft Partner site to go build our new logo.  Now you’ll find it on the IdeaWeaver site and the Logical Expressions site. (Rest assured, it will be added to the rest of our sites as we have time to get to them!)

New Book on the Horizon

As I wrote here,

A Book Journey

we have a new book coming out. For all you vegans, vegetarians, and wanna be veggies, I plan to approve the proof and order the first batch of Vegan Success tomorrow. Yeah, I’ve been kinda busy. That’s also why I’ve ignored this blog for a while. (Well, that and pouting about Word Press being sort of a pain to work with.)

I'm Not the Only One

I got a number of hilarious responses to this article:

No, I will Not Go!

about my dog Cami’s ability to get herself tangled up in the forest. One person wrote to me about her Siberian Huskies tangled up with her and their coupler leash in a tree. It’s all too easy to imagine!
